Admission Exam

For admission to most of the study programs at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (with the exception of some Doctoral Studies) an admission exam must be passed, in addition to meeting other formal criteria. An overview of all admission tests for the study programs can be found here. More detailed information on the admission tests can be found on the page for each study program.

Online registration for all study programs. From the AkademieOnline list, please select the corresponding institute and study program.

For the Doctoral Studies of Science, Philosophy and Technical Sciences, online registration is not possible. Admission to these study programs follows during the general admission deadlines, see Calendar.
