We would also like to draw your attention to:

  • the announcement of the 2025 Msgr. Otto Mauer Prize. Applications for the prize will be accepted from October 13 to 15, 2025. For the first time, this year's Monsignor Otto Mauer Prize includes a cash prize of €15,000 and is linked to an exhibition by the prize winner in the Jesuit Foyer (1010 Vienna) as well as extensive public relations work. In the interest of continuing the Otto Mauer Collection at the Dom Museum Vienna, the Otto Mauer Fund intends to acquire a representative work by the prize winner.

  • the Demokratie leben initiative of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in cooperation with Gewista. Six artistically designed motifs can be spotted on digital advertising media in public spaces in July and August!

The Theodor-Körner-Preis goes to Nora Severios and Julija Zaharijević

On June 25, 2025, the Theodor Körner Fund awarded its 2024 scholarships at the Education Center of the Vienna Chamber of Labor. Alumna Nora Severios and Julija Zaharijević of the Academy of Fine Arts prevailed and won the prize, which is endowed with 5,000 euros.
