The Cathrin Pichler Archive for Arts and Sciences comprises the entire written legacy of the thinker, curator, author and teacher Cathrin Pichler. This collection of over 5,000 publications, valuable first editions, autographs, sketches and drafts was donated to the Academy in 2012 with the task of making it accessible to the public and preserving it for future generations of artists, scientists and curators. Through the material collected by Pichler over several decades, the archive provides an insight into her work as an exceptional thinker.

In addition to the presentation of the archive material, the archive periodically shows artistic works which - in the sense of Cathrin Pichler - deal with thinking artistic methods and practices as a contribution and intervention to a scientific discourse.

The Cathrin Pichler Archive can be visited and viewed.
