The Print as Monument Reading Circle will explore methods of reading, guiding and publishing practices as form of monument making and commemoration. The discussion will be linked to an application of MemoryGames card game and working through Marianne Hirsch’s notions of post-memory. How is it possible to remember the Shoah if the number of contemporary witnesses are continuously declining and the traces of history are increasingly fading for younger generations? MemoryGames is dedicated to this issue, serving as a „memory tool“ that promotes active dialogical commemoration between people of various ages and with different experiences.
