„ ... It is these shared spaces, or what we call haunted landscapes, that relentlessly trouble the narratives of Progress, and urge us to radically imagine worlds that are possible because they are already here.“
- Gan, Tsing, Swanson and Bubandt in Arts of Living on a damaged planet

The online screening curated by Kelly Ann Gardener – that takes place in context of the exhibition New Views on Same-Olds (until 13.03.2021) and as cooperation with Blickle Kino/Belvedere 21 – gather films that contemplate the complex human - landscape relationship and its multispecies entanglements. They explore different approaches to moving image production and varying methodologies of unearthing the ambiguous narratives that tie human interference to these places, questioning the position of the camera just as much as the person that holds it. Through non-linear storytelling and changes of perspective, these films endeavour to tell ambivalent, interconnected tales, remaining in a state of indeterminacy, somewhat out of place.
