Anja Manfredi ist Mentorin von Theresa Wey

Anja Manfredi (*1978) lives and works as an artist in Vienna. Graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Eva Schlegel and Josephine Pryde (1999-2005) and at School of Artistic Photography, directed by Friedl Kubelka (1998/99), she became the Director in 2010. Since 2016 she is member of the Association of Visual Artists Wiener Secession. Historical and cultural constructions and forms of gestures and poses are a continual topic in Anja Manfredi´s work. Local and international exhibitions, including solo exhibitions at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg (2013) and at the House of Art, Budweis (2015). Artist-in-residency in Rome, in Paris, in New York City and planned in Herzliya near Tel Aviv.  Manfredi is the winner of the Outstanding Artist Award for Artistic Photography (2017). Her publications are in the photobook collections of MoMA, MUMOK and Albertina.
