Summer time is travel time – and the news from the Academy in August are also quite international!
The Public Relations Office wishes you enjoyable reading!

We would also like to point out:

  • the opening of the new exhibition Care – between Tenderness and Resistance in the Exhibit Gallery on September 4, 2025 at 18h.
  • FREE STUDENT FRIDAY at Vienna Contemporary 2025. On Friday, September 12, 2025, all students under the age of 27 will receive free admission to the fair upon presentation of a valid ID. Academy employees also receive a 30% discount on admission tickets on all days with the discount code: VC2530Friend.
  • a thatched roof workshop with the architectural firm Atelier Bow-Wow, organized by the Secession as part of the exhibition Suturing Together, on September 13 at 11 h. Participation is free; registration is open until September 10.

AUTO¡STOP!: An Erasmus+ project

After a successful project in 2024, Auto¡Stop! is now entering its second round – once again as part of an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project. The international research workshop brings together teachers and students from three different countries to jointly explore the possibilities that arise when cars disappear from public space.
