We are pleased to provide you with an overview of upcoming activities of the Center for Doctoralal Studies as well as ongoing calls in this Doc News issue.
On 20 May 2026, the workshop Resilience and Agency – Strengthening Our Attitude in Challenging Times will take place. The aim is to identify and actively strengthen individual resources in order to remain capable of action even in periods of high workload and uncertainty. There are still places available – to register send us an email with the subject "Workshop May 2026" and a current Record of Studies (Studienblatt).
We are also pleased to announce that the Dissertation Completion Fellowship will be offered again in 2026/27. The call is now open and runs until 20 October 2026. Doctoral and PhD candidates at the Academy and the University of Art and Design Linz with an advanced dissertation project are eligible to apply. The six-month grant aims to support the completion of the thesis.
The call for the DOC program of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) ends on 15 September 2026. If you are interested, the OeAW offers an information event on 13 June.
