Dear colleagues,
dear alumni_ae,

With our current newsletter Art | Research we would like to inform you about numerous calls for proposals and competitions.

The Graduate Conference will take place at the Academy on 30 April. We would like to invite all advanced doctoral/Ph.D. candidates of the Academy to present at the conference. Please submit your contributions until 19 March at 11 am via the submission platform. We are looking forward to this special conference to which we cordially invite you.

If you are interested in submitting a project, please contact us via kfs@akbild.ac.at. We would especially like to draw your attention to the FWF programmes Esprit, PEEK, Richter and Richter PEEK.

In particular, we would like to point out the EU funding line CERV and the call on European Remembrance, which is open until June 6. Furthermore, we take this opportunity to draw your attention to the 5th Africa-UniNet Call, which will open on September 1st and promotes cooperative research projects between Austrian and African institutions.

SAR International Forum on Artistic Research 2024

  • Conference: 10.4.2024–11.4.2024

This year the Society for Artistic Research introduces a new biennial meeting format, that offers time and space for thought-provoking and stimulating dialogue between artistic researchers, artists, practitioners, as well as policy makers and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Registration for the event in Tilburg is possible until March 20. The event will be hosted by SAR and the Fontys Academy of the Arts.

The scholarship for a short-term stay abroad for doctoral/Ph.D. candidates supports stays abroad for e.g. research, field research, archival research, interviews, which are necessary for the dissertation or the Ph.D. project. Stays abroad are funded for a minimum of two to a maximum of eight weeks.
