University Professor with focus on Sculpture/Textual Sculpture at the Institute of Fine Arts

The Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna intends to appoint following position at the Institute of Fine Arts:

University Professor
with focus on Sculpture/Textual Sculpture for 6 years.

Requirements for application:
Excellent artistic qualification in the field of sculpture having special regard to a work concept that reflects the cultural and discursive basic condition in the shaping process. In terms of an transdisciplinary art term connecting points to other disciplines, media and genres should be considered;
an appropriate degree of an Austrian or equivalent foreign university, or artistic qualification that may be considered equivalent;
proof of artistic qualification and national as well as international exhibition activity;
proof of pedagogic and didactic quality;
competence of contributing to the development of the arts by promoting the Academy's research activities;
willingness to contribute in university agendas and to cooperate with colleagues is implied.

Teaching obligations include 17 artistic individual tuition units a week at the Institute of Fine Arts.
