Under the title "Fantastic Wednesday" on Wednesdays of the once-monthly seminar weeks, the PhD in Practice opens its doors to the Academy, friends, and other interested people from 6pm till 9pm. Program participants (individually or collaboratively) use DG 12, one of the attics at the academy, to present their work in progress and experiment with different formats of presentation.

Two choirs is the first part of art-based research project proposing one possible reading of the Yugoslav socialist state, its dominant models and legacy, focusing on the representative portrait of the childhood. At the same time, the project is questioning the possibility of the collective and individual memory of the country that no longer exists.

Ana Adamovic is dealing with issues of identity and memory, both personal and collective, by working on long term photography and video-projects. Since 1999 her work has been exhibited on numerous solo and group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad, most recently in the Museum of Contemporary Art Belgrade, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Rijeka and Museum of Photography in Braunschweig. She graduated at the Department for the World Literature at the Belgrade University and studied photography at the Art Institute of Boston. She is the founder of Kiosk Platform for Contemporary Art based in Belgrade.
