Orit Ishay is a prominent Israeli artist, photographer and visual artist working with video and installation. She is a lecturer in photography. Ishay’s art examines the interrelations between man and place, while addressing questions pertaining to social and mental issues. Some of her video works are independent, stand alone, while other videos form an additional tier in a series of still photographs which are frequently accompanied by a substantial theoretical research.
