As media and digital artworks only exist in their installed forms and are heavily subjected to change, we should remember that their acquisition is actually an endless process. In today's lecture, we will dive into the recursive practice and recurrent loops associated to the life cycle of these works within ZKM, from their acquisition to their presentation and preservation.
