Bracha Lichtenberg Ettinger on Deceleration, Communicaring, Com-passion.
Artworking in the age of gaze-screen-eye symbiosis and digital stupor

Invited by Andrea Zabric within the lecture series of the Master of Critical Studies.
Coordinated by Jackie Grassmann and Leonie Huber.

Continuing last year’s lecture series, students of the Master in Critical Studies invite different actors from the cultural field to give an insight into their practices and engage in collective discussion. In focus are artistic practices and critical inquiries that scrutinise alternative and oppositional modes of knowledge production and rehearse a non-complicit positioning beyond articulations of the commodity form.

The talk will take place online and in English. It is open to the public. Due to limited capacity, please register in advance until the day before via e-mail at macriticalstudies@gmail.com .

Bracha Lichtenberg Ettinger is a visual artist, feminist theorist, philosopher and psychoanalyst.
