You want to know more about studying at the Academy? What to study? How to apply? Where to begin? The new online-platform Kiosk tries to answer some of these most important questions regarding studying at the Academy.

The new platform for an inclusive, diverse and easier accessible study information will be presented in an interactive afternoon, inviting everyone to participate and to try out how to use it.

We cordially invite all employees and students of the Academy as well as all people interested to participate at the presentation and get a first insight to the new platform.

“What if...? A never-ending story…”

'What if...?' explores the myriad and diverse possibilities that lie within the enigmatic corridors of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. The questions are vast, some answered, some lingering in the shadows. Is there even an answer? Join us for an evening of laughter and contemplation as we draw a spotlight on the blind spots within the Academy humorously and critically.

In conjunction with the launch of the Website Kiosk at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the curators Val Holfeld and Mirjana Mustra invited the artists Danilo Jovanovic, Sara Hawy and La Terre’, to question the given structures within the academy.

As part of the event, four workshops for pupils and young people on various artistic topics will take place in the morning. The workshops are designed and conducted by students of the Academy. The participating educational institutions are:

  • Mittelschule Bildungscampus Sonnwendviertel
  • Mittelschule Seltzergasse
  • AusbildungFit Jobtrain
  • Berufsschule für Handel und Reisen
