Cathrin Pichler Prize
In honor of the thinker, curator, author and teacher, the Cathrin Pichler Prize will be awarded to a student of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna who - in the spirit of Cathrin Pichler - is concerned with thinking specifically about artistic methods and practices as a contribution and intervention to a scientific discourse.
The award includes prize money in the amount of 2,500 €, provided by the City of Vienna. The certificate will be awarded during a ceremony.
Students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna as well as graduates who completed their studies at the Academy in the summer semester 2017* or later are eligible to submit applications. The prize is dedicated to artistic-scientific research projects. (Qualification projects such as diploma, master or doctoral theses are excluded!)
Next submission deadline: Wednesday, May 4, 2022, 11:00 a.m.
*Exception due to social reasons: If you have completed your studies a longer time ago, you can still submit proof of e.g. childcare periods, illness or care of relatives, etc.
