  • Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts | Scholarships

    In the context of the Salzburg International Summer Academy of Fine Arts, 21 courses with renowned artists, curators and authors will take place in the Festung Hohensalzburg and Steinbruch Untersberg between 20 July and 29 August 2026. Students have the opportunity to apply for about 100 scholarships for participation.

  • Open Days 2027

    During Rundgang (Open Days), institutes will open their atelier doors and studios, and performances, discussions and educational programs are offered. The annual Academy Auction will also take place as part of the tour, for which world-famous and even lesser-known artists will make works available for auction.

    The "Pro Scientia" foundation is interdisciplinary and awards stipends to high performing students (from Bachelors degree), junior scientists of all fields and artists up to the age of 30.

    Demokratie leben: Winners to be featured on City Lights throughout Vienna starting in January

    The initiative of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and Gewista on digital advertising media in public spaces is entering its second round! From January 1 to February 2026, the six contributions of the winners will be featured on the City Lights around Vienna.

  • Discussion: Critical Perspectives on Israel and Palestine

    Israelis for Peace is a Berlin-based group of Israeli activists, united by a strong sense of responsibility for contributing to peace, equality, and justice for everyone living in Israel-Palestine. They strive to foster collaboration between critical Israeli voices and international civil society, as a vital front in the struggle for a more just and peaceful future and in combating genocidal violence. Standing Together Vienna is a Jewish-Arab alliance for peace in the Middle East. Comprising members from different backgrounds, the initiative promotes dialogue and co-existence as a means of achieving a just peace in the region.
