Partner Agreements and Mobility Programs
Partnerships
The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna has about 100 international partner universities for student exchanges in various mobility programs and for teachers’ exchanges in the Erasmus Program. During exchange studies, students are enrolled both at the Academy and at an international partner university and exempt from paying tuition fees at both universities.
Mobility programs are financially supported with a variety of stipends and grants and administratively supported by the International Office.

Mobility programs for students
Erasmus+ study exchange SMS
For each level of studies (BA, MA, PhD), students have the opportunity to apply for 12 mobility months each, for diploma studies even 24 months, to partly finance their exchange with an Erasmus grant. Depending on the living expenses in the respective target country, this grant amounts to between EUR 380 and EUR 580 per month.
