Film presentation and panel discussion in cooperation with the Institute for Art and Architecture, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the Class for Stage and Film Design, University of Applied Arts Vienna

A filmic reflection on the sustainability of artistic creation and the question, what influence individual striving for success has on the biosphere.

In an artfully interlaced scenario between the documentary and the fictional, characters and actors comment on the burning questions of our present.
What is art, what can and should it achieve politically? How important is success and what does it mean to lead a life that has no negative consequences?

Following the film, Friedrich von Borries (Professor of Design Theory at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg), Jakob Brossmann (film director and stage designer, director of Globart) and Lisa Schmidt-Colinet (architect, Institute of Art and Architecture, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna) will talk about the relationship between art and ecology and about the concept of a life without consequences.

Moderation: Lotte Schreiber
