Modes of production of (post)industrial masculinity in art: Matthew Barney, Judy Chicago, and LaToya Ruby Frazier

The lecture analyzes the work of three artists who have incorporated the production methods of the automobile industry into their work in order to reclaim hegemonic notions of masculinity in art and industry—or, conversely, to overcome them.
