Guided Tour: Wall Decor and Wood Imitation – Historical Techniques at the Hermesvilla
The Institute for Conservation and Restoration is collaborating with the Wien Museum at the Hermesvilla for the examination of the permanent wall decorations in selected historic rooms. The results of the research on the decorative techniques and wood-imitation methods used are presented on site. Tour on the occasion of the 2026 European Conservation-Restoration Days.
