The studio collective of the IKL invites you to its first group exhibition entitled Dreams of Milk to undertake an imaginary journey through the metamorphoses of bodies and definitions of the human.

The time has come, we are doing an exhibition entitled Dreams of Milk, because the need for the experience of working together was great. The reactivation of the collective and the processes it initiated, such as bringing these works together to create something in cooperation, as well as the act of exhibiting conjointly itself, led to the idea of the first independent group exhibition of the IKL-Atelierkollektiv.

The title Dreams of Milk is an allusion to this year's Biennale, which borrowed its title The Milk of Dreams from Leonora Carrington's book Leche del sueño, in which the surrealist artist contained a magical world in which life is seen over and over again through the prism of imagination. It is a world where everyone can change, transform, become something or someone else.

In our exhibition Dreams of Milk we took this as an opportunity to undertake an imaginary journey through the metamorphoses of bodies and definitions of the human and to ask ourselves how to work in a collective and whether art and artists can contribute to testing new forms of cooperation and presenting new possibilities for change.

A warm invitation to everyone to dream with us.
