Negin Rezaie is a multidisciplinary performance artist and creator of art and cultural ecosystems. Her work focuses on archiving, collective knowledge production, and queer-feminist forms of civil disobedience. By combining artistic practice, archival research, and education, she creates participatory spaces where communities exchange strategies of resistance, remembrance, and collective learning.

This workshop is inspired by the Iranian tradition of Naqqāli, a centuries-old form of public storytelling in which a narrator, accompanied by painted images, shared stories, historical events, and social issues with people in public spaces. Drawing on the Library of Civil Disobedience (LoCD), we will explore visual material and stories about diverse forms of resistance and civil disobedience, transforming them into a space for collective discussion, storytelling, and collaborative drawing. By sharing experiences and collaboratively mapping current political events, participants connect various practices of resistance and contribute to a living archive of collective memory and solidarity.
