Gabriele Edlbauer was born in Linz. She studied fine arts at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm with Peter Geschwind and Olav Westphalen (BFA 2011) and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Monica Bonvicini, graduating in 2012 with Performative Art - Sculpture as her main focus. She lives and works in Vienna.

Gabriele Edlbauer's "Alpha Tools" is a series of sculptures that are situated in the milieux of industry, workshop, tuning and conventional office equipment. In the current exhibition, Edlbauer substitutes sculptures for existing pieces of the Rector's office furniture. These objects are intended to be used in the daily office routine in the same way as their predecessors.

"Architectonic pantomime.

Imre Nagy's works are like abstract drawings. They are distinguished by the fact that even in their material translation, the conceptual character of the anticipating medium prevails over conventional expectations. His technical and therefore abstract constructions make reference to objects of daily use, both in their individual parts and in their entirety. However, his constructions offer very little practical use and the materials employed are not necessarily those that would logically be chosen by an artisan. Imre cites everyday objects and transforms construction into composition. What he communicates is not purpose-oriented but almost theatrical: Nagy entices the beholder into participating in a pantomime of everyday experience."

Michèle Pagel was born in Werdau, Germany. Michèle Pagel presents three large objects, three "key players" that turn the office into a "salon of ineffectual usefulness": A dream catcher with an assortment of hammers suspended from it reminds us that "everyone forges their own destiny". A vacuum cleaner sculpture, both modern and useful, moves busily through the office by itself. A two-and-a-half-dimensional covered wagon is affixed to the office wall and appears to offer shelter under a colourful layer of petticoats. But the sound installation hidden inside gives curious visitors quite a surprise.
