Martina Fleischer: Botticelli to Tiepolo – the latest research findings
The lecture deals with the genesis and profile of the Lamberg-Sprinzenstein collection, which was donated to the academy in 1822, primarily the collection of Italian, French, and Spanish paintings. Recently published art historical and scientific research findings provide surprising insights into, for example, Titian's Tarquin and Lucretia, Tiepolo's Phaeton and Apollo, or Pietro Testa's Venus and Adonis.
