Gender Studies Day on 5.12.2023
Gabriele Possanner was the first woman to receive a doctorate in Austria-Hungary in 1897. 100 years later, the Ministry of Science launches the Gabriele Possanner Prizes for services to the promotion of gender studies. On the 2nd Day of Gender Studies - Tuesday, December 5, 2023, the winners of the 2023 Possanner Prizes will be announced.
Gabriele Possanner Prize 2023 goes to Elke Krasny, Professor of Art and Education at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
