University Library – August 2023 Vacation
The University Library of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna is on vacation. The Main Library will be closed from August 1 to 20, 2023. From Monday, August 21, 2023, the team will be available again for your questions.
The Branch Library at the Institute for Education in the Arts is closed for the summer and will reopen on October 2, 2023.
The exhibition On Sediments and Occidents can be visited during opening hours until July 28 and from August 21 to September 29, 2023.
Opening hours of the Main Library in the summer months July to September 2023
Monday to Wednesday, Friday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Opening hours of the Main Library from October 2, 2023
Monday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

During closing hours, media on loan may be returned using the return box located next to the entrance door of the reading room (M 7).
