ifk | Junior Fellowship
The ifk Junior Fellowships are intended for young Austrian academics doing their dissertations, as well as for non-Austrian doctoral students who are being supervised at an Austrian university.
The dissertation project must be an interdisciplinary undertaking in the humanities, social sciences or art that addresses the study of culture(s), its issues and methods.
Research projects may, but are not required to, relate to the current ifk research foci.
ifk Junior Fellowships include...
a monthly grant of €2,150 and a workstation at the ifk with computer and internet access; the receipt of the scholarship is tied to residency at the ifk. Nothing other than minimal part-time employment can be undertaken in addition to the scholarship. The ink does not cover costs associated with health insurance and or social insurance.
Successful applicants can take part in the ifk Junior Fellow Abroad Scholarship Programme for the following academic year. Details about the Junior Fellowship Abroad will be discussed during the Fellowship in Vienna.
