FWF | Principal Investigator Projects International Israel
In cooperation with the Israel Science Foundation (ISF), the FWF offers the opportunity to apply for closely integrated research projects between researchers in Austria and Israel. The goal is to combine the areas of strength of both research systems and to create clear added value through international collaboration.
Target group
This funding opportunity is open to researchers in all disciplines. The application guidelines for FWF individual projects apply.
Funding goals and funding period
The program offers researchers the opportunity to carry out a thematically focused research project in collaboration with project partners in Israel and to address specific research questions.The funding duration is 36 up to 48 months.
Prerequisites
- The applicant must have the academic qualifications needed to lead the proposed research project
- Project to be carried out at an Austrian research institution with the necessary infrastructure
- Integrated project in cooperation with project partners in Israel

Award
The FWF acts as the lead agency and is responsible for peer review and project selection.
