Neptun State Prize for Water | WaterCREATIVE 2027
Neptun State Prize for Water 2027 recognizes outstanding artistic works that engage with the element of water. Artists and creative practitioners are invited to submit their projects in the WaterCREATIVE category. The call welcomes innovative concepts and projects from all artistic and cultural disciplines that explore the theme of water in creative and original ways.
Submissions are open in terms of both theme and artistic format, provided that the project substantively addresses water. Entries will be evaluated in a multi-stage selection process by an expert jury. The main assessment criteria include the originality of the contribution, the quality of the documentation and presentation, the strength of the project's artistic and conceptual message, and its potential to raise public awareness and visibility of water-related issues.
The submission deadline is 11 October 2026. Following a pre-selection process in autumn/winter 2026, the shortlisted projects will be evaluated by the expert jury. The award ceremony will take place in Vienna around World Water Day on 22 March 2027.
