Culture Moves Europe | Individual Mobility 2026–2027
As part of Culture Moves Europe, artists and cultural professionals can apply for an EU grant for a stay abroad. The call is open to individuals and groups of up to five people.
Requirements
The project must take place in another country participating in the Creative Europe programme and be carried out in cooperation with an international partner, either an individual or an organisation. A letter of invitation is required. The supported fields are architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, and the performing and visual arts.
Eligible activities include research, concept development, residencies, professional development, and networking. The project must pursue at least two of the following objectives: learn, create, explore, or connect.
Duration and funding
- Individuals: 7–60 days
- Groups: 7–21 days
The stay must be continuous and completed within six months of signing the grant agreement. A final report must be submitted within 30 days after the end of the stay.
The grant includes:
- Travel costs: 400 Euro for distances under 5,000 km; 800 Euro for distances of 5,000 km or more
- Daily allowance: 85 Euro per day
Deadlines and submission
The submission deadlines are 31 October 2026, 30 November 2026, 31 January 2027, 28 February 2027, 31 March 2027, and 30 April 2027.
Applications must be submitted in English via the Goethe Application Portal. Applicants will receive feedback no later than eight weeks after the relevant submission deadline.
