The research cluster | digital cultures engages with a rapidly developing field, that is increasingly shaped by automatically generated content and algorithms (social media, AI, etc.). It primarily addresses those digital processes and phenomena in which the Academy's particular expertise in the practical and theoretical examination of contemporary art and culture comes into play.
The research cluster coordinates work in these areas, forms networks, and supports research projects.
