    Following the footsteps of Theophil Hansen: The HGM as a guest at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna

    How did today's Museum of Military History (HGM) come about? Staff members of the Museum of Military History, together with colleagues from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, explored this question. The occasion for their research was the examination of historical architectural drawings and designs by the renowned architect Theophil Hansen (1813–1891), who designed the former Arms Museum – the present-day Museum of Military History.

    Translocal Performative Environment hosted by Claudia Bosse

    As part of the 4-year research of the translocal performative academy (TPA) theatercombinat in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. A performative environment on new ecologies, long-term collaborations between Europe and Southeast Asia, transcultural glitches, artistic solidarity, and (digital) performativity.

    21. BEST AUSTRIAN ANIMATION Festival

    The BEST AUSTRIAN ANIMATION competition will take place for the 15th time as part of the 21st BEST AUSTRIAN ANIMATION Festival from November 24–29, 2025. The competition program includes films by three students from the Academy of Fine Arts.
