Open Days 2026
During Rundgang (Open Days), institutes will open their atelier doors and studios, and performances, discussions and educational programs are offered. The annual Academy Auction will also take place as part of the tour, for which world-famous and even lesser-known artists will make works available for auction.

BMWKMS | Grants in the field Film
The Federal Ministry for Housing, Art, Culture, Media and Sports (BMWKMS) offers funding in the field of film. Among other, funding is awarded for project development as well as production of avant-garde and experimental films as well as animation, documentary and feature films.

The format Considering the Collection & An Insert by … features highlights from the collection of the Paintings Gallery as well as installations and groups of works conceived as inserts by contemporary artists and incorporated into the temporary arrangement from the permanent collection. The insert by Belgian artist Ana Torfs is the third presentation in this series.
