As part of the Artists in Residence program, two young artists are invited each summer to live and work at St. Virgil for five weeks. The aim of the AiR program is to promote the work of young artists in the first five years after graduation.

The Top Citizen Science program is aimed at researchers who actively involve citizens in the research process. Whether collecting data, sharing observations, or contributing experiences – there are no limits to the ways citizens can participate, and partners such as schools or clubs can also be involved.

The summer school Experimental Poetry: Unfold – Experimental Poetries Then and Now will take place 6–10 July 2026 in Bucharest. It offers an opportunity for nine students and emerging poets aged 19–26 who live and work in Romania, Austria, and Serbia to explore sound, visual, procedural, language‑poetry, and other experimental practices with the guidance of Dr Robert Stacey and Senka Gavranov. The organizer will cover travel, accommodation, and meals for the three selected participants from Austria, three from Romania, and three from Serbia.

The Theodor Körner Fund has set itself the goal of promoting young scientists and artists. Applications can be submitted for scientific research projects as well as art, literature, and composition projects that are currently in progress.
