Nela Eggenberger, art historian with a focus on contemporary photography. Co-founder of the periodical P.IN.E.A (Photography Intermedia Et Al.). Long-time Editor-in-Chief and Artistic Director of EIKON – International Magazine for Photography and Media Art (2013–2025). She has been a juror for various grants, artist-in-residence programs and international art & theory awards. She currently works freelance as a writer, curator and consultant. Exhibitions for EIKON Schauraum (2020–2024), the Austrian Cultural Forum Berlin (2020/21), Künstlerhaus Wien (2018) and Kunst Haus Wien (2015), among others.
