The spatial context of the reading is a still life. The installation is part of the scenography class exhibition, which deals with colonial continuities.
“Zehnminutensalon” is ideal for people interested in literature with a short attention span. The only rule is that each person's reading stops after 10 minutes, regardless of whether the sentence is finished or not. We invite all listeners to time the reading and end it by ringing their cell phones. Afterwards, the audience can agree on a question and ask it to the reader. Then it's on to the next reading. In this way, the audience can enjoy several authors presenting completely different types of texts without losing the thread.
