Academy Charity Auction for students who are exposed to difficult conditions, for example due to their nationality, as well as for refugees.

Bids can be submitted from January 7, 2022 via www.dorotheum.com/akbild22 .

Viewing of the exhibits:

Wednesday, January 19, 2022, 2-6 pm.

We are pleased to announce the Academy Charity Auction in cooperation with Dorotheum Vienna, which will take place online this year.

On Friday, January 21, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna organizes the annual  Academy Charity Auction in cooperation with the Dorotheum. The proceeds benefit students and asylum seekers who are in a precarious position. Further support goes to tralalobe for unaccompanied minor refugees and to Queer Base - Welcome and Support for LGBTIQ Refugees as well as to the Solidarity Matters Association.

As before, all works of art can still be viewed in the Prospekthof of the studio building of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. The majority of the proceeds from the auction benefit students who are exposed to difficult conditions, for example due to their nationality, e.g. as asylum seekers, as well as the associations Tralalobe , Habibi & Hawara and solidarity matters , which support refugees.

Payment and collection of the purchased works

On site on Saturday, January 22 and on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 12-18 o'clock possible (by cash or by ATM) as well as by arrangement (for more information please refer to the infomail to the buyers after the auction).
