The non-profit Viennese association CHANGES for women and cabaret artist Berni Wagner invite you to a big benefit gala. With Malarina, Maria Muhar, Schwesta Ebra and Christoph Fritz, a delicious selection from the current Austrian cabaret scene will be served.

The fundraising evening serves to finance the self-determination of unintentionally pregnant women. It takes on 28.4.2024,6 pm–10 pm in the Prospekthof of the Atelierhaus of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, (formerly Semperdepot), Lehárgasse 8, 1060 Vienna.

The evening will be hosted by Yasmo, known for her feminist and socially critical slam and rap art. DJ sonjafrombaits, guitarist/singer at Baits and host of the FM4 show House of Pain, will play some hot tunes. The Café Florida bar team will refresh you with delicious drinks and cocktails.

The evening is about collecting donations for a good cause: the artists are waiving their fees, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna is providing the space, and the proceeds from the drinks provided by Café Florida and the sponsors will also go to CHANGES for women. The benefit gala thus enables unwanted pregnant women to plan their future and their families in a self-determined way.

CHANGES for women is a non-profit organization that finances abortions from private donations and provides essential help to unwanted pregnant women. So far, we are the only contact point in Austria that provides financial support in this form. In this country, abortions are not covered by health insurance and must be paid for by the patient. The costs are horrendous and vary greatly: an abortion in a Viennese hospital currently costs 386.26 euro, while the costs in private clinics and other federal states are up to 800 euro.

Support CHANGES for women with your visit. Your donations are needed to ensure the association's support work. Suggested donation: from 30 euro
