Institut français d'Autriche | SSHN Scholarship for Excellence
The Institut français d'Autriche and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs are offering merit-based scholarships for short scientific research stays (1–6 months) in France. This mobility aims to enable junior researchers to consolidate their work and to form new cooperations in France.
Target group
- Doctoral students from Austria or with a registered residence in Austria who are enrolled at an Austrian University or research institution
- Junior researchers (Postdoc or researchers who obtained their doctorate less than 5 years before their arrival in France) from Austria or with a registered residence in Austria
The program applies to all scientific disciplines.
Duration and amount of scholarship
- 1–6 months within one calendar year
- the maximum cumulative duration is 12 months
- 1,850 euros per full month spend in France
