The BEST AUSTRIAN ANIMATION competition will take place for the 15th time as part of the 21st BEST AUSTRIAN ANIMATION Festival from November 24–29, 2025. The competition program includes films by three students from the Academy of Fine Arts.

The BAAF is held in close cooperation with the Laboratory for Animated Film (Adnan Popovic, Institute of Fine Arts).

The student contributions from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the competition program are:
