Workshop for teaching staff: Antisemitism and racism in the context of Palestine-Israel
In this workshop, we will discuss current manifestations of Israel-related anti-Semitism and anti-Palestinian/anti-Muslim racism. The workshop for staff members is offered by Johanna Voß and Amina Nolte, it takes place online and in German.
We will look at the effects on those affected and the structural characteristics of ideologies of inequality. We will also shed light on the connection between the Middle East conflict and anti-Semitism and racism and use different definitions to work out the difference between criticism of Israel and Israel-related anti-Semitism. This workshop will also discuss options for dealing with anti-Semitism and racism.
