Otto Mauer (1907–1973), who gained international recognition for his commitment to contemporary art and young artists, the Otto Mauer Fonds will award the 45th Msgr. Otto Mauer Prize for Visual Arts (painting, graphic arts, sculpture, objects, installations, new media) at the end of the year.

CINETS is a bi-annual conference and will be hosted 5 to 7 July, 2026 at the University of Leiden, Netherlands. It deals with the fusion of criminal law and immigration (crimmigation) which has gained material and symbolic importance.

The Elfriede Mejchar Award for Photography has been awarded for the first time on the occasion of Elfriede Mejchar's 100th birthday in 2024 as part of the commemorative exhibition that the Province of Lower Austria holded at the State Gallery of Lower Austria in Krems. After that, the prize will be awarded biennially until further notice.
