University Library – Summer 2025
The University Library of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna also offers all services in summer. Please note the reduced opening hours from June 30 to September 28, 2025:
Monday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
The Main Library will be closed from August 1 to 24, 2025.
The Branch Library at the Institute for Education in the Arts will be unoccupied from June 30 to August 31, 2025.
From Monday, September 1, 2025, the team will be available again for your questions during the usual opening hours.

During closing hours, media on loan may be returned using the return boxes:
Schillerplatz – located next to the entrance door of the reading room (M 7);
Karl-Schweighofer-Gasse – opposite room 4.18.
