FWF | doc.funds Programme
The main objective of doc.funds is to support outstanding doctoral programs and to consolidate existing education and training structures for highly qualified young researchers.
doc.funds awards funding for structured doctoral programs that have already existed for at least two years at Austrian doctoral research institutions. The university (or universities) offering the programme must be clearly committed to providing basic funding, that is, providing all of the necessary infrastructure as well as funds for the on-going operation and institutional anchoring of the programme. The funding is designed for a period of four years.
