The post-National Socialist history in the transalpine region is still marked by anti-Semitism, racism and anti-democratic groups. Attacks such as the recent ones in Halle, Hanau and Vienna are part of a long series of historical events. The last two years of the pandemic have shown us how important it is to support each other across national borders, to learn from each other and to create solidarity. In this panel we want to offer a space to address different levels and perspectives of memory culture, to learn from each other and to unlearn.
