Paula Strunden is a transdisciplinary artist, architect, and researcher working at the intersection of architecture, XR, and embodied spatial experience. Her practice explores how immersive environments can expand perception and bring together the physical and the imagined. She holds a Dr. techn. in architecture and is currently an ETH Postdoctoral Fellow at Gramazio Kohler Research, following professional experience at Herzog & de Meuron and Raumlabor Berlin. Her work has been exhibited and commissioned internationally, including at MUNCH Oslo, the Royal Academy London, Museum der Moderne Salzburg and Nieuwe Instituut Rotterdam. She is the founder of @xratlas, a platform dedicated to feminist perspectives in XR, expanding the field through oral histories of female VR pioneers and dialogue across disciplines.

2.6.2026 Penz Gallo und Studio Paradox

Penz Gallo is a Vienna-based interdisciplinary design practice by Lisa Penz and David Gallo. Their collective expertise in the fields of graphic design and architecture allows them to take a broad perspective on projects while carefully coordinating and integrating both spatial and visual aspects in their work. This involves questioning the supposed boundaries between media and disciplines and operating beyond them. Their designs are informed by a conceptual approach and place particular emphasis on sensitively coordinated tactile, material, and spatial qualities as well as finely crafted typographic details. Both their close collaborations with clients and self-initiated research projects result in publications, installations, exhibition and spatial designs, websites, and video works.
Studio Paradox works in collaborations across spatial, image and text practices, at the intersection of art and architecture.
It addresses contemporary political, ecological, and urban conditions through a multidisciplinary approach. The work often focuses on large-scale and hidden infrastructures, looking at their ecological impacts, their role in shaping future urban developments, and their relationship to collective memory. Projects have been presented at the Tbilisi Biennale, the Bienal Internacional de São Paulo, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles, among others.

Das Büro Bietenhader Moroder ist das in Wien und Zürich ansässige Büro des Schweizers Sebastian Bietenhader und des Italieners Matthias Moroder. Es ist international tätig. Das Büro befasst sich mit intentionaler Gleichheit als positiver formaler Eigenschaft von Architektur. Darum gruppieren sich Interessen für formal erkennbare öffentliche Architektur und öffentlichen Wohnungsbau; für emanzipatorische Architektur; für unkreative Entwurfsprozesse; für dumme statt smarte Architektur; für die Beziehung zwischen digitalen und analogen Zugängen zum Gleichen vs. Abgewandelten; sowie den Zusammenhang dieser Themen mit der Umbauthematik.
Büro Bietenhader Moroder is the Vienna and Zurich based office of the Swiss Sebastian Bietenhader and the Italian Matthias Moroder. The office works internationally. The practice engages with intentional sameness as a positive formal quality of architecture. Grouped around this are interests for formally legible public architecture and public housing; for emancipatory architecture; for uncreative design processes; for dumb rather than smart architecture; for the relationship between digital and analogue approaches to sameness vs. variation; as well as the interrelation of these themes to the topic of renovation.

Megaworld.xyz instantiates itself as a para-ontological dispositif whose operative indeterminacy exceeds even post-structuralist taxonomies, engendering a hyper-rhizomatic meta-assemblage of recursively folded semio-capital flows and pre-subjective intensities. As heterotopic espace autre, it performs an auto-differential deferral of epistemic closure, wherein digital bricolage mutates into a trans-epistemic machinic phylum. Consequently, its phenomenality dissolves into a quasi-transcendental field of contingent subjectivation, rendering Megaworld.xyz less a platform than a processual constellation, an epistemic laboratory in statu nascendi, wherein subjectivation and techno-cultural paradigms are contingently renegotiated.
