Final Steps: Submission of your PhD thesis and Defensio / Rigorosum
How do I formally submit my dissertation? What are the benefits of a voluntary plagiarism check before submission? What is a revocation application (Sperrantrag), and what role does it play if I am planning to publish my dissertation? How and when do I register for my thesis defense (Defensio) or Rigorosum?
In this Online Coffee Table Talk, we will provide information on the formal procedures for dissertation submission, the voluntary plagiarism check, publishing and Open Access, revocation requests, and registration for the Defensio or Rigorosum. The session will conclude with a Q&A with Andreas Ferus (University Library), Alexander Meitz (Registrar’s Office), and Sabine Priglinger (Center for Doctoral Studies).
The event will take place in English with the Q&A and English and German, and online via Zoom. No registration is required.
