This piece delves into the fascinating life of my great-grandmother, Ella, who coincidentally shares my exact birthday but with a 70-year difference. It juxtaposes unearthed images from her modeling career in the 1950s and 1960s with snapshots of the “Kornspeicher,” an old corn granary in Potzneusiedl that she transformed into her residence. The accompanying text and audio recordings weave a rich tapestry of her life’s myriad tales. The interplay of these elements offers a glimpse into her intricate personality and the diverse facets of her life.
