The Day You Were Thinking About the Sibyl While You Were Picking Autumn Leaves An Insert by Ana Torfs
In the exhibition format Considering the Collection & An Insert by ..., in addition to the highlights from the Gemäldegalerie's collection - from Bosch to Rubens - works that are related to the insert can also be seen. Conceived as inserts in the temporarily arranged display collection, these can be read as critical statements by contemporary artists on the Academy's historical art collections. The insert by Belgian artist Ana Torfs is the third presentation in this series.
